Commercial Description:
A smooth and refreshing beer loaded with flavor. Specialty malts give it a roasted taste and beautiful brown color. Balanced with just the right amount of Cascade hops.

On tap poured a clear dark brown with a lasting tan head. Aromas of carmel, butterscotch, toffee, fruittiness and light cocoa. Palate was light bodied and smooth with a watery finish. Flavors of carmel, light cocoa and a hint of nuts with a smooth watery malty finish.

12 oz. bottle courtesy of a trade with dkachur. Pours a clear brown with a moderate-large off-white head that lasted until the very end and left a nice solid layer of foam with each sip. Light aroma of malt and not much else. The flavor is equally bland with again very light malt and not much else going on. Thin, watery mouthfeel, particularly for a brown ale. The body is more like a light beer. While this was not a bad beer, there are plenty of brown ales I would reach for before this one.

Bottle. Pours brownish red. Creamy white head. Aroma is malty chocolate. Flavor is more of the same, with a nice roasted finish. Crisp, drinkable, and utterly forgettable.

Crushed with Jakebra. Another non-offensive-but-nothing-to-offer-really brew. Some roast, sweet malt, and some not much else. Beers beer, and this qualifies, so thats cool, but a nothing brew overall.

Pours dark brown with a couple of fingers of light tan head that have some staying power. Aroma is moderate at best, light roast and malt, with a hint of metal. Flavor is better, nice roasted malts, and a hint of chocolate and some hops. Decent beer, will be a nice session beer for the Christmas party later tonight.
