Deep brown with a small, creamy light brown head. Lightly nutty roasted malt aroma. Roasted malt flavor with a hint of chocolate and hops bitterness at the end. Palate is light and a bit watery at the end. Nothing startling here but a good brown ale.

Bottle. Poured a dark brown with a light tan head that settled to a ring a left good lace. Aromas of caramel and toasted malts. The flavor is slightly more subdued but some caramel and chocolate is present. Light body and sweet.

Poured a very dark brown with a large off-white head. Not much aroma, but hints of caramel malts and nuts. Taste is pretty simple, mainly of nuts, with some caramel in the aftertaste. Sweet. Slightly watery. Overall nothing special, but very drinkable.

Smells mildly of dark caramel malts. Taste is crisp with a nice caramel malt back. Not incredibly flavorful, but not bad.

Slightly cloudy, deep brown appearance with a fairly large, well laced, tan head. Toasted, caramel malt aroma with some bitter chocolate peeking thru as well. Earthy, moderately sweet, nutty taste. Medium bodied, decently carbonated mouthfeel with a lingering finish.

12oz. Bottle: Faint aroma of malts, caramel, and nuts. Poured brown/deep amber in color with a small to medium-sized tan head that greatly diminished but lasted around the edges. Clear. Not sparkling. Flavor is lightly sweet. Tastes of malts, nuts, slight chocolate, and light caramel. Medium body. Average texture. Average carbonation. Malty, nutty finish.
