Light malt is all you can pick up. Pour was a nice light gold with a one finger white head. Taste was very crisp and refreshing. Strong carbonation with the very slightest hoppy bite. The carbonation pricks the cheeks and tongue and the flavors are an afterthought and hard to detect. Call me crazy but I love beers like this. ben4321 (1051), Rockville, Maryland, USA

It’s a decent beer I guess, but I wouldn’t rush out for one of these. You see this beer a lot all over the North East, this price is the best thing I can say about it. DrnkMcDermott (1861), Downers Grove, Illinois, USA
| 2.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 4/5 | 4/10 | 2/5 | 8/20 | Jun 20, 2009 12 oz. bottle. Nice golden pour kicks up a good-sized head. Smell is not as pleasant, I’m getting a pretty obvious whiff of corn right up front. And that carries through to the taste of the stuff. Some malt there, not too sweet, but it’s kind of lifeless. The neck label says it donates "a penny in every pint" "to a local burn foundation." So the 12 oz. bottle I got loose just kicked in $0.0075 to some worthy cause. lagaffe74 (16), Louisiana, USA
| 2.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 3/5 | 3/10 | 3/5 | 8/20 | May 21, 2009 This beer struck me as a Macro trying to pass as a Micro. Sweet corn nose for a pretty easy mouthfeel with a pretty decent finish. Something is missing. Most likely the "micro" dimension. For the Macrobrews drinker who wants to switch label but not stray away from the taste.... chicagodri (1071), Chicago, Illinois, USA
| 2.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | May 15, 2009 On tap @ Map Room. Pours clear gold with a white head. Aroma of grains and a touch of hops. Easy to drink and refreshing, but not a whole lot going on here. emacgee (1892), Chapel Hill, North Carolina, USA
| 2.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 3/5 | 4/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | May 15, 2009 Pours a translucent gold with a frothy white head. The nose was sweet, corny, some diacetyl, bland. The flavor was crisp and sweet, had a mild hop bite. Easy to drink but not satisfying.
