Commercial Description:
A crisp, clean American Ale. Perfect for extinguishing your fiery thirst or when you crave an ice-cold beer. A great step up in flavor from the lighter style American and imported beers.

Bottle… Clear, light golden ale with a small, fizzy, white head. Gentle toffee and honey aroma. Medium-bodied with a 2%-milk mouthfeel and lively carbonation. The flavor is meaty, but reserved. I also pick up a touch of sorghum. Short, crisp, clean finish.

Very light ,grainey malt aroma, not much of anything else. Taste is light ,slightly sweet malting, little or no indication of any hopping. Simple ,easy ale, maybe a good intro ale for your Bud drinkers

some malt which gives a sickly sweetish aroma, fine color, seems like I would enjoy this one more come summer, right now should have kept with the brown

bottle poured a golden color with a thin off white head. aroma is grainy, sweet malt, and some faint hops. mouth feel is light and the malt side very sweet. hop touches, slight dough, and some minerals in the finish. average and unexciting.

Poured a clear amber/gold with a smaller white head. Aroma is grassy and malty. Taste is very grassy with sweet malt flavors. Maybe a little yeast? Above average carbonation. Aftertaste is not too great. Overall decent, not too watery, but nothing special.

Bottled Aug o5 2008. Poured golden with a creamy white head that settles to a ring and left good lace. Aromas of grain with a malty background. The flavor found caramel, yeast, and light hops. Medium body and crisp.

Big surprise with the low rating from the ratebeer crowd for this pleasing golden ale from the folks at Rochester. Sweet ale with low carbonation and low hop presence which explains why it’s rated so low here, but it’s a very drinkable and mild thirst quencher. Ignore the haters and give this ale a try
