Sweet ale with low carbonation and low hop presence which explains why it’s rated so low here, but it’s a very drinkable and mild thirst quencher.
Ignore the haters and give this ale a try

| 2.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 2/5 | 6/10 | 2/5 | 10/20 | Feb 8, 2009 Pours a clear pale yellow with fizzy white head. Aroma is a bit grassy and slight slight lemon. Mouthfeel is a little thicker than I would have thought. Flavor is very doughy with some citrus and a bit of caramel sweetness. Not a huge fan as something seems out of whack. daknole (3032), Scottsdale, Arizona, USA
| 1.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 3/10 | 2/5 | 3/10 | 2/5 | 6/20 | Feb 5, 2009 Bottle from total wine in Orlando. Golden pour. Aroma is malty, bready and some weird fruit on the nose leads me to believe this wont be so good. Ah yes, I am right. Very bready and some notes of wheat are stomped out by a beer that tastes like jolly green giant corn. bleh. BillKismet (1959), Seattle, Washington, USA
| 2.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 10/20 | Jan 31, 2009 Straw blonde adorned with head of fluff. Aroma has a crisp spiciness to it with some hops and straw and grain. Not bad for a golden ale. Clean tasting with balanced malt and hops and a bit of corn flavor and sweet grass. jgb9348 (2515), Arlington (Pentagon City), Virginia, USA
| 2.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 4/10 | 2/5 | 8/20 | Jan 21, 2009 Clear golden coloured body, slightly pale with no head at all. Aroma of sweet candy sugar, fake fruits and some funky wheat - everything wierd. Medium-bodied; Malt up front with some fruit tastes, but they seem fake. Overall, funky but not horrible. I sampled this six ounce sample from pseudo-draught at the Old Dominion 2005 Beer Festival on 24-June-2005 in Ashburn, Virginia. phishpond417 (1953), Madison, Wisconsin, USA
| 2.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 2/5 | 7/20 | Jan 20, 2009 The first beer I’m rating after the 9 day detox. Woot! Not the best. Pours a clear golden colour with a slight orange hue. Head is initially medium sized which leaves behind a decent amount of lacing, for whatever that is worth. The most noticeable thing about this beer is it’s prevalent corn aroma and taste which i notice mostly in the finish. Lots of grain, and corn throughout the palate. Aroma is of corn, lemon and maybe some sort german hops. zach8270 (2140), Henrietta, New York, USA

Aroma is lightly sweet and malty with some hints of floral hops and toasted grains. Flavor is smooth and sweet with a good hint of caramel and toasty malts. Very light touch of hops at the end. Very drinkable.
