Just like the Golden Ale, I see this one all over the place in the NE, and while it is a tad better then its Macros counterparts, it’s really just a boring Light Lager. Birdiebeagle (815), Perkasie, Pennsylvania, USA
| 2.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 3/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 10/20 | Apr 28, 2009 Bottle Pours a clear light golden with a good white head. The head disapates quickly, but seems to lace pretty well. Aroma is of sweet corn. Has a good carbination. The texture is watery. The flavors are okay for a pale lager. This beer is refreshing and very drinkable. I would much rather drink this then many of the Big Macros. Not great but drinkable. DerBiermeister (524), Birmingham, Alabama, USA

Basically, to get a feel for this beer, read my rating of Hook and Ladder Golden Ale and pour water on it. Or, you can buy Hook and Ladder Golden Ale and put more water in it. jcwattsrugger (5581), Florida and, New Jersey, USA
| 1.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 3/5 | 3/10 | 2/5 | 6/20 | Mar 25, 2009 12oz bottle-pours a foamy tight white head and yellow color. Aroma is husky, corn. Taste is seltzer, some husky, corn, spice hops. Thanks jwc215 for picking this out. jmulv (93), Rensselaer, New York, USA

Which, depending on your persuasion, could be a good or a bad thing. Personally, I’d rather have either more taste or more alcohol. If I wanted water, I would’ve gotten some from the tap, not paid for a six pack of it. Gypsy19 (656), California, USA
| 1.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 1/10 | 3/5 | 3/10 | 2/5 | 6/20 | Mar 11, 2009 Pours a taxicab yellow with a small, fizzy head. Aroma is almost nonexistemt. Flavor is also almost nonexistent, though a little sourness toward the end. Just another piss lager here. Overall, poor. hopscotch (5537), Vero Beach, Florida, USA
| 2.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 8/20 | Mar 11, 2009 Bottle… Clear yellow lager with a small, creamy, white head. Great retention. The yeasty nose offers grain, biscuit and home-made soap. Light to medium-bodied and watery with middle-of-the-road carbonation. Thin, with no flavor whatsoever. Short, crisp, clean finish. nick76 (2684), Tampa, Florida, USA
| 2.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 3/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 2/5 | 10/20 | Mar 1, 2009 The aroma is light and malty with an adjunct character and what seems to be metal. The appearance is light straw gold with a small head. The flavor is really nice for a light beer. Its plenty malty and clean with no funk and a small hop finish and maybe some metallic notes. The palate is thin but right for the style. Overall not a bad light lager.
