Commercial Description:
Cask; Seasonal - March & April.
A premium dark red beer, based on the recipe used for the 150th celebration brew. Copper has a strong dry palate with an unusual 'old fasioned' aftertaste. Copper is brewed with Maris Otter malt, flavoured with proportions of aromatic and brown malt, creating a highly distinctive character. Fuggles, challenger and Goldings whole hops are used, and the beer is both late hopped in the copper and dry hopped in the cask.

Tasting notes from Hook Norton Brewery and Banbury beer festival. Copper-Amber with thin head. Caramel, fruit, and balancing hops in the finish. Dry bitter finish.

Cask handpump at the Swan in the Rushes, Loughborough. Copper coloured with a slim head. Fruity aroma. Sweetish, malty and fruity taste. Nicely balanced; pretty good.

Cask at Wellington Arms, Bedford. Bright gold-amber with a small head. Fruity aroma and a beautiful pear-like taste, sweet and spicy. Plenty of malt. Mid to low bitterness. Delightful.

Cask at The Rover, Gothenburg, Sweden. Amber. Resin aroma and flavour. Both sweet and bitter and citrus-notes.
