Commercial Description:
Bottled, Special;
“The beer, at 4.3 per cent ABV, is the perfect compliment to the fruits of the sport. “With a glass of this Oxfordshire beer, raise a glass to toast those people who have made the BASC what it is today.” Double Barrelled is a pale ale with aromas of soft fruit and a hint of orange.

Bottled. A hazy golden beer with an off-white head. The aroma is sweet with notes of malt, straw, and citrus. The flavor is sweet with notes of malt, straw, and citrus, leading to a bitter and dry finish, where the straw note lingers.

Orange appearance.Lively upon pouring with a hoppy bitterness that lingers. Pretty mundane and a little disappointing.

Bottle at home ... almost certainly thanks to Fin for this one ... amber ... sweet tangy fruity nose ...fruity toffee malts ... medium bitterness... but as fin says middle of road.

Bottle, picked up from SH Jones, Bicester, Oxon last month Pours warm gold white head. Tastes dry and little fruity tanginess going on here, some bitterness but overall there really isn’t much to write home about, its just about average really.
