Ungstrup (11378), Frederiksberg, Denmark Mar 29, 2003 A black beer with a fine head. The aroma is sweet and roasted. And the flavor is smoked, filling and soft. A really nice beer. omhper (10728), Stockholm, Sweden Jun 4, 2003 Bottled. Very dark brown. Firm off-white head. Rich aroma with licorice and coffee. Salty and malty, soft and balanced with nice chocolatey bitter finish. Papsoe (10359), Frederiksberg, Denmark May 16, 2005 Updated: Jul 3, 2005(Bottle 50 cl) Very dark with an underlying reddish tint and a nice, creamy light-brown head. Very roasted, but not smoked. A pronounced bitterness in the palate. 050804 yespr (6889), Copenhagen O, Denmark May 11, 2008 50 cL bottle. Pours dark brown to black with a slowly diminishing tan head. Aroma is roasted maltwith a light coffee note. Flavour goes in the same direction with a nice acidic flavour from the the roasted malt and some coffee bitterness. Shows a light creamy feel. Light sweet molasses note too, yet subdued by the more dominant roaste malt note. Nice one. joergen (6529), Frederiksberg, Denmark Oct 31, 2005 Updated: Dec 28, 2005Bottled.
