omhper (10950), Stockholm, Sweden May 7, 2002 Sampled cask conditioned. Pale amber. Spicy aroma. Medium bodied. It has that lovely fresh, chewy mothfill you’ll only find in really good cask ales. Medium- to low bitternesss. Plain, but most certainly not unremarkable. fiulijn (6010), Como; Lausanne (CH); Malmö (SWE), Italy Sep 16, 2006 Cask Conditioned at Charlie’s Pub, Copenhagen
Hazy amber color. The aroma is a bit sour; the flavor is quite light, an easy sample, light malt, quite strong bitterness, very light off-flavor. Infected? fonefan (5507), Ulfborg, Denmark Aug 16, 2007 Cask (handpump) @ Harringtons, CV8, Kenilworth. Clear medium amber color with a small creamy, virtually none off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, caramel, light hoppy, flowers, citrus, toffee, butter. Flavor is moderate sweet and light bitter with a average to long duration. Body is medium, texture is creamy, carbonation is flat. harrisoni (5474), Ashford, Kent, England May 30, 2006 Cask gravity at Crabble Corn Mill BF 2006. Easy drinking session bitter, some hop, some dryness. Drank it without even really noticing Rastacouere (5418), Montréal, Quebec, Canada Nov 23, 2007 Delicious sparkler off-white foam covers the light copper pour. Not too aromatic this one, but nonetheless a mildly earthy noble hoppiness that is sandwiched between burnt and caramelly malts. Grows into a fine session ale in mouth where it is quite dry and mineral, grainy and fresh despite a leafy astringency. Never reaching the extraordinary, but balanced and tasty.
