BuckeyeSammy (363), New York City, New York, USA Aug 13, 2007 dark brown, well balenced ale. Had this brew at 5the GBBF 2007. Slimple, didnt add much to your palate Lunkie (1006), Glen Iris, Australia Jan 28, 2007 Sweet malt aroma. Dark brown red clear colour with poor head and lacing. Malt flavour with sweet aftertaste. Flat palate. imdownthepub (4045), Banbury, Oxfordshire, Oxfordshire, England Jun 6, 2006 Bottled, pasteurised, 500ml. Dark brown with cream, but short lived, head. Strangely I found the bottled version to have a stronger roasted nutty flavour than the cask, still hoppy bitter on the finish giving the impression that the beer is a mix. A good bottled beer though. Kingsuttonale (4), Oxfordshire, England does not count May 22, 2006 Updated: May 26, 2006A mild with hints of chocolate and toffee with more than an overtone of maltiness. A beer more apreciated during warm summer days in a North Oxfordshire pub garden.
Not the best but most certainly not the worst.
