Commercial Description:
Bottled; Pasteurised.
Pale, delicately fruity and refreshing. Hooky Gold is a beer which marries English tradition with American pizzazz. It is the first of our beers to use an American hop variety, Willamette, grown in Oregon, and having moderate bitterness with a spicy, noble hop aroma.

Bottle from John’s Marketplace in Portland, OR. Lightly hazy peachy gold color with a decent white head. Aroma is sort of peach fruit over light malt. Flavor suggests peach. Body is near medium over slight carbonation. There’s a green tea note. As time passes it’s still peach to me, but the bitter builds. Each sip has a great nose and a marvelous taste. It is somewhat spicey. Spiced peach. Love that.

Dark gold ornage body with a large, lightly off white head. The aroma has some definite fresh wort and malty backbone. There is also some earthy cellar and tea. The taste has fresh bread dough and apple cores. There is also some earhty vegetable in the finish. Dry throughout and a little boring.

Bottle. Hign and lasting fluffy white head. Clear golden body. Very weak fruity aroma. Mild and round flavor pretty sweet honey with a little hops bitterness, low carbonation and a short aftertaste. Boring.

This bottled brew from a bottle shop poured a medium sized head of foamy with a frothy top white colored bubbles that were and left behind a transparent typically carbonated light orange colored body and a fair lacing. The mild aroma was malty and hoppy. The mouth feel was tingly at the start and at the finish. The thin yet crisp and tingly flavor contained notes of malt and hops. An OK brew just nothing special.

Unclear yellow orange with an off white head. Pale malt & hop aroma with slight fruity (citrus) notes. Light short bitter end. Drinkable & pleasant!
