bembelembe (75), Zagreb, Croatia Jun 19, 2008 Fresh and light. Hoppy flavour, smooth. Earth and fruity notes. Medium-low in bitterness. Bit watery. Golden color, low in carbonation, medium head. Enjoyable but bit sticky-sweet aftertaste. Very drinkable.
jeff789 (130), Pennsylvania, USA Dec 26, 2008 Interesting beer... Very light bodied... The american hops are very assertive yet mild relative to the thinness of the body, i think due to the unexpected flavor of them... Im usually not a huge fan of beers of this style but this is a bit different in that it is an english bitter with american hops, most golden ales are irrelevent as far as im concerned... I like this better than the Old Hooky.. thornecb (1290), Marblehead, Massachusetts, USA Dec 10, 2008 Pours a hazy gold into an English pint. Bright white head recedes to skim surface. Marshmallow and yeast aromas. Upfront lively and slick tangerine with a lasting astringent hop finish. bhensonb (3221), Woodland, California, USA Aug 23, 2008 Bottle from John’s Marketplace in Portland, OR. Lightly hazy peachy gold color with a decent white head. Aroma is sort of peach fruit over light malt. Flavor suggests peach. Body is near medium over slight carbonation. There’s a green tea note. As time passes it’s still peach to me, but the bitter builds. Each sip has a great nose and a marvelous taste. It is somewhat spicey. Spiced peach. Love that. Palidor19 (1424), Brandon, Florida, USA Aug 5, 2008 kinda of off flavor, the taste seems like an unpleasant bitter that doesn’t work too well. nick76 (2180), Tampa, Florida, USA Aug 5, 2008 The aroma is grassy with malt and cedar. The appearance is pale gold with a large head. The flavor is like the aroma. The palate is thin. Overall it’s pretty good.
