Great aroma. Grapefruit, rhubarb, toffee. Taste a bit... old? Fruity but dusty. A beer of high quality, but not really in my f(l)avour. Stew41 (1051), Caulfield, Australia
| 2.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 3/10 | 3/5 | 10/20 | Aug 25, 2006 Clear maroon brown with a thin white. Unspectacle. Fruity, lifted nose, very clean malts and estery notes. Slips a gear to taste. Some ok bitterness comes through but the fruit and malts evident on the nose don’t deliver in any way. A fraction metallic and frankly quite boring. davegore (202), liverpool, Merseyside, England
