Bottle. Pours great amber with a slight haze. Small beige head. Dry aroma with a weak fruitiness and caramel. Well carbonated with clear fruitiness and a weak bitterness note. Ends with elderberries and a slight cherry note. The hops lends it a flowery note coupled with hazelnut in the aftertaste.

16.9oz bottle-pours a light tan head and amber color. Aroma is somewhat sweet medium malt-caramel, secondary herbal/spice/floral hops. Taste is somewhat sweet medium malt-caramel, secondary copper/spice/floral hops. Occasional. Thanks jwc215 for sharing this.

There is little aroma, but what is there is mainly malt. Taste is smooth, particularly noticably smooth, malty, maybe a little fruity/honey taste and slightly hoppy finish, but not too dry. We’ve never had this in the spoon before and was nice to try something different. Pleasently suprised.

Dark amber colour with medium sized white head. Sweet and malty aroma with hints of caramel. Flavor starts malty, ends in a fairly bitter finish.

Bottled, Pasteuised. Deep amber with short white head. Fruity, slightly aweet flavour, plummy aroma. Some bitterness on the front of the tongue, but mostly rich malty. Thinner than the cask wher the beer develops further.

Bottle: Copper coloured, hazy, firm white, longer lasting head; big fruity, vinous nose with a tinge of caramelly maltiness or should I say butterscotch ? Very smooth; initial slightb dry fruitiness, moderate bitter-aromatic flavour, endinbg in a dry, hoppy aromatic aftertaste with a tinge of vinous fruitiness again. Fine ale !
