Commercial Description:
Bottled. Pasteurised.
A well balanced and full bodied beer demonstrating fruitiness, with the Crystal Malt content being distinctive. The hoppy mouth gives way to a sweeter finish.

Bottle. Deep reddish amber, clear. Fruity aroma promising apples, but also some raisins and toffee.Very good raisins flavours, kept dry and bitter, despite the toffee presence. Medium to full body. Very enjoyable.

Pours darker amber with a soft tan head. Toasted malts with a soft fruity hop finish. Lightly mineral quality to the palate. I enjoyed the flavor to this, the warm caramel flavor paired nicely with the fruity finish.

Crystal red amber pour. Chocolate maltiness and leafy hops in the nose. Honey, tea, caramel, grapefruit. Lots more tangy hops than the cask. Less mellow creaminess and honey. Even pasteurised, something of an understated, easy-drinking yet complex classic.

Excellent within its genre. Strongly fruity aroma (cherry, blackberry), though that is less present in the flavor, which is perhaps because the hops and bitterness are so (too?) strong, right through the end of a long finish. Nice color (deep amber, reddish tinge) and excellent palate--tingles on the tongue but short of a carbonated fizz. Enjoyable beer.

500ml Bottle: Sweet aroma. Smells of caramel and butterscotch. Poured orange/amber with a hint of copper in color and a small off-white head that disappeared quickly. Clear. Sparkling. Flavor is lightly bitter and light to medium sweet. Tastes of caramel, biscuits, raw potatoes, and a hint of chocolate. Medium body. Chalky texture. Average carbonation. Sweet, caramel finish.

Pours with a thin tan head and an unclear amberorange body. Aroma is mild with a sweet toffee note. The flavor is malty and hoppy with a creamy tone and a vague bitterness in the finish. Not an outstanding beer but nice and easy and good if you are in the mood for it which I was!

Bottle. Reddish brown with a slight off-white head. Aroma of caramel and dried fruit. Flavour was malty with some more fruit and a bitter finish. Good.

Candylike nose, crystal clear amber color, foamy tan head that sticks to the glass. Thin light quick malt, more on the sweetish side with some honey and caramel. Nice and dainty hop bitter. Decent balance, though overall not so thrilling. Enjoyable.
