Jul 30, 2002 Very tasty. Nice rich amber colour with creamy off-white head - like omhper says, makes a change to the flat watery stuff i’ve been accustomed to here. Flowery aromas. A light, nutty, buttery body. Big herbal hop flavours mingle with rich fruity flavours (mango, pawpaw?) and it all finishes with strong, fat bitterness. Apologies for the paucity of verbs in this review - internet cafes are expensive here

Aug 18, 2008 "Bomber" from John’s Marketplace in Portland, OR. Nice amber color with a multifinger beige head. Aromas of lightly roasted caramel and fruity/floral hop. Medium+ body with creamy carbonation. Flavor is roasted caramel and fruit - a bit tart like green apple. Somewhat nutty. Finishes quite dry. Leaves a spicy feeling on the tongue. Gotta love it.

Aug 9, 2003 Perfumey, dusty hop aroma. Malt is very bready, with a lightly sweet, bitter finish. Balance is tipped toward hop bitterness.

Jun 1, 2004 Bottle. Small sized off-white head that was creamy and smooth with fine-small sized bubbles. Carbonated, transparent and an orange hue. Malty, hoppy and fruity aroma. Light bitter, malty and hoppy flavor. Mouthfeel was smooth and dry. Fair lacing. Recommended.

Jun 27, 2006 The commercial description pretty much reflects it all, except for the full bodied bit. The aroma has some ester fruitiness and toffee malt, and the hops are more evident on tasting. The flavour is quite well balanced making it a good candidate for a sessional beer. A little on the gassy side, but has a nice and reasonably long lasting aftertaste. Quite enjoyable.

May 18, 2008 Pour a rich deep dark amber with a huge creamy beige foam on top. Sweet crystal malt and slight hop aroma. Very rich malt profile, quite buttery. Toffee and and oranges is a good way to describe it. Bitter nutty finish that is has a long sweet aftertaste. The hops play a very good supporting roll in this beer. Dull palate with light sizzling carbonation, in style.

Apr 21, 2007 Nice colour, but thin in body. Nice bitter taste maybe too much for some. Drinks while room temperature as well as cold.
