Mar 28, 2008 Tasted 3/4/08. 500ml bottle. Filtered with a ruby garnet hue. Tight ring of cream colored head. Aromas of toffee and sweet breads. Medium bodied with smooth malts. Touch dark chocolate and red berries. Fudge and cocoa. Mild toast. Nice British interpretation. Sweet and bready. Slight hop character. Mild spice.

Mar 19, 2008 Good brown color,small off white head that faded quickly leaving nothing behind.The aroma was roasty with maybe some hints of chocolate and a faint hint of smoke hidden in there as well.The flavor is malty upfront with a nice smooth roasty side some hints of chocolate.Very smooth brew with some nice flavors much better then i was expecting,and well worth trying again.
