evilsoc (169), Wales May 26, 2008 Straw coloured pale ale. Nose of apples and floral hops. Decent bitterness throughout and a moderate dry finish and slightly sour bite.
Wombler (27), , Greater London, England Oct 4, 2008 Golden in colour with white head, not too thick but lacy non the less. Surprisingly bittersweet. This cask version is slightly different to the bottle conditioned one, with a little more bite. cbeers21 (408), Miami, Florida, USA Sep 26, 2008 Golden pour, not too much head. Quite . Grassy watery straw aromas, not much character, a little hops to smell. Barnyard flavor, with juicy rounded flavors. A little fruity and sparkling nature. A little bit of a letdwon as I expected a little more. vyvvy (1756), Hazelwood, Missouri, USA Sep 25, 2008 Pours clear blonde with an uneven snow white head. The aroma has delicate pale malt that is very clean for an English beer in the states. There is a light amount of spicy hops and a touch of malty sweetness. Light crisp body that gets some slickness on the finish and a bit of semi-sharp carbonation. The flavor starts like the aroma, but it a bit fuller. The finish has some earthy spicy hoppiness. A nice refreshing beer. gam (576), brisbane, Australia Sep 21, 2008 Frothy white head on a straw coloured ale, misty also, good carbonation.Aroma,hops,fruit,citric,malt.Flavour marmalade, malt, hop, bitter,Hop is strong, peach taste, grittyness, melon ,apricot.Finish dry, fruity, slightly annoying taste. weaselkenievil (390), Cheshire, England Sep 21, 2008 Bottle. Poured golden/yellow with small white head. Not much smell but my sense of smell is rubbish. It has to stink to register with me. Bit watery which let it down for me. Slightly fruity and hoppy and yes it is dry. As I often say with beer, not offensive but might be a while before I venture back for another taste.
