| 2.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 10/20 | Jan 2, 2010 First rate of 2010. 12oz bottle. Pours a clear glowing orange copper with a larger foamy off-white frothy head. Aroma of caramel and toasted wheat, ample but subdued hop fruitiness accompanied by lots of sweetness making it smell like fruit snacks. Flavor of caramel, some richness accented by the alcohol, touch of hops, quite fruity, simple, actually better now that is has some age on it, go figure. Medium/light bodied, not sticky, slightly viscous, softer sizzling carbonation, a bit corse. Eh... I think I gave it a slightly better rating just because I’m very thirsty from all the New Years partying. shrubber85 (3016), Wallhalben, Germany

| 2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 9/10 | 4/5 | 2/10 | 2/5 | 3/20 | Nov 19, 2009 Pours a cloudy amber with a creamy beige head. Nose is of caramel and bakery. Smells yummy! Has a thick, syrupy consistency on the palate. Feels like melted caramel in the mouth. Very little malt or hops. Not much flavor at all. This shit looks, smells, and even feels wonderful. But it has almost no taste. WTF? WTF indeed!

| 2.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 3/5 | 4/10 | 3/5 | 9/20 | Oct 31, 2009 Poured a pale amber, with a surprisingly big, creamy head. Cloudy in appearance: more like upper atmospheric clouds than fog. Very little to speak of taste wise. Bready, malt taste. Hops don’t really deliver, as the name seems to promise. shalloWMeans (160), Independence, Kentucky, USA
| 2.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 10/20 | Oct 29, 2009 Light amber color with a slight haze and medium white head. The aroma has a decent, juicy ripe fruitiness with a light hint of spicy, grassy hops. (This beer has the best hop presence of anything I’ve had from Anheuser-Busch; nothing spectacular, but a step in the right direction.) It’s not too shabby on flavor- toasty, with caramel malt that forms a nice balance with the light sprucey hop bitterness. Actually quite well-rounded. The body is light to medium and not nearly as thin as AB’s other wheat beers. A reasonable brew with good drinkability.
