On tap at the brewpub. Poured a dark brown and smelled of vanilla. Couldn’t really taste the vanilla, but it had more of a chocolate flavor. A little thin-bodied for a porter, but all in all a pretty good brew.

On tap at Bailey’s Taproom. Colour... jet black with no head. Nose... vanilla galore, cafe au lait, cocoa. Palate... creamy mouth feel, marshmallow, vanilla, coffee, bitter and tangy.

On tap at the brewpub. Dark brown pour with a almost non-existent white head. Aroma is heavy on the vanilla with some chocolate present as well. Flavor much the same, but not quite as overpowering with the chocolate and vanilla as the Laurelwood Vanilla Porter I had. Good beer, one of the two best I had at Hop Valley.
