changeup45 (503), Orlando, Florida, USA May 16, 2008 Pours a hazy yellow color topped with a huge fluffy white head. Aroma is citrus bananas and fresh with some yeast and a touch of spice. The flavor is a bit citrusy with some orange coriander and banana. There’s also some yeast and maybe a hint of spicy hops thrown in there but it’s all a little thin. Still nice and refreshing so I may give this one another look on a hot day.
leninthedesert (92), Nevada, USA Jun 20, 2008 I enjoyed this hefe, although its not my favorite style...must be something to do with the fact that summer is here in Las Vegas! Great hefe, however, really opened up as it warmed slightly...began to taste citrus and banana under the wheaty-maly body...mildly sweet, but not sugary...a very nice brew! Strykzone (850), Wood River, Illinois, USA Jun 13, 2008 Cloudy and unfiltered hefe with a moderately sized head of a light golden hue. Aroma of yeast and grass with some citrus fruit. A nice banana compliments the wheat flavor. Yeast and spice, as well. Sweeter than many hefes. This is what you expect from a hefe. It is easy to drink, flavorful, and enjoyable. beerbill (1141), Laurel, New York, USA Jun 8, 2008 16.9 oz. bottle courtesy of a trade with SoLan. Pours a cloudy dull gold with a moderate white head that lasted until mid-glass and left partial lace. Pleasant aroma of wheat, lemon, and banana. The flavor is very similar to the aroma, with more of the wheat and lemon present and less banana. Refreshing. Oakes (6771), Miami Beach, Florida, USA May 27, 2008 Cloudy yellow with a big pillowy head. Very sweet banana candy aroma. Spritzy body with a tart finish. Sweet, light-bodied banana middle. Nice, different taste.
