mabel (1633), Toronto, Ontario, Canada Aug 9, 2008 [1434-20080531] Tap. Smells like old barley sacks and a bit of sour yeast and light meats. Hazy, orange red body with a medium-lasting bubbly off-white head. Sour yeast flavour. Medium body. Quite good.
(4T @ Mondial; Montreal, QC) LadySusan (366), Ste-Therese, Quebec, Canada Aug 8, 2008 On tap at Vices & Versa. The color is a hazy honey with a light beige head. The aromA and taste is of spicies, also in the taste is malt. It is sweet but not to much. IIt leaves a nice aftertaste. VTHopHead (673), Barre, Vermont, USA Aug 3, 2008 Sample at the 2008 VT Brewers Fest - Poured a slightly cloudy pale yellow in color with a small white head that quickly faded, Aroma is of bready yeast, bananas and some citrus. Flavor was also yeasty with the sour citrus and other fruits. Finishes with a mild sourness. Nice... jerc (3114), Toronto, Ontario, Canada Jun 4, 2008 2008-05-31. Crisp golden body with a nice foamy off-white head. (3+) Aroma is mild, light alcohol kissed grass, hops. (6+) Pleasant zippy bitterness alludes to lemons, mild grass, pale malt. More lemon and grass in the finish lingers pleasantly. (7+) Smooth average palate suits the beer. Decent but not my favorite of their offerings. On tap, Mondial, Montreal, 4T
