A golden blonde ale with a thin white head. Pungeant floral c-hops, grapefruit, biscuitty. In mouth, a light pale ale with light resinous, rather weak in mouth. On tap at brewpub, August 16 2009.

Draft @ the brewpub. Pours a clear golden color with a small white head. Has a malty citrus hoppy aroma. Sweetish malty weak hoppy citrus flavor. Has a sweetish malty hoppy finish with some bitterness in the aftertaste.

Nice Pale ale with floral and citrus notes that have Cascade written all over it. So far best of the 3 brews with the Hopmonk name.

On tap @ the Hopmonk. Clear orange with a one finger off-white head, fading to a thick ring and thin film. Aroma of citrus and floral hops with a biscuity malt backbone. Flavor is much the same with a little more perfumey floral notes. Bitterness peaked at a 3 and finished slightly earthy. Light to moderate carbonation with a light body. Good APA.

On-tap at the brewpub. Pours burnt orange with a moderate sized white head, good retention, sheet lace. Smells hoppy and a bit hop resiny. Smells a bit malty as well but mostly hoppy. Tastes hoppy and earthy with big, deep caramelly malt flavors as well. Medium body, good carbonation. Solid pale ale.
