growler - thanks riversideak; pours clear dark brown with thin tan head; aromas of nuts, chocolate; dank, dry and stale nuts; grainy, dirty weed and earthy; quite dank with some chalky roast; super dry finish

Growler from Douglas88. Thanks! The aroma is very nutty - roasted nuts with a good dose of dank hops. Very earthy, bvc says Mexican dirt weed... Sounds good to me. A little dark malty sweetness underneath. Dark dark brown almost black with auburn hues underneath. Nice looking beer! Toasted/roasted nuts, chalky peanut shavings , dank dirt weed. Light malty sweetness. Clean finish with some dryness on the palate.

Growler shared by riversideAK. Clear dark brown, basically black with a decent head that quickly settles to a foam halo around the edge of my glass. Big roasty malt nose but I get huge whiffs of Mexican dirt weed. Malty, roasty, Brazilian nut, and Liquorice flavors. Decent flavor and quite drinkable.

Man, I’ve been anticipating this beer after Dono’s comments about it, and it did not disappoint. Pours a pure black color with some shades of red when exposed to the light with a thick white head and nice lacing. The aroma is nice; rich toasted malts, some chocolates seem to drift in. The flavor is rich and great; chocolates, milky coffee, toasted malts, rich, very rich flavors. Very nice. A perfect Schwarz.
