The aroma is very nutty - roasted nuts with a good dose of dank hops. Very earthy, bvc says Mexican dirt weed... Sounds good to me. A little dark malty sweetness underneath. Dark dark brown almost black with auburn hues underneath. Nice looking beer! Toasted/roasted nuts, chalky peanut shavings , dank dirt weed. Light malty sweetness. Clean finish with some dryness on the palate. bvc (350), Kenmore, Washington, USA

Clear dark brown, basically black with a decent head that quickly settles to a foam halo around the edge of my glass. Big roasty malt nose but I get huge whiffs of Mexican dirt weed. Malty, roasty, Brazilian nut, and Liquorice flavors. Decent flavor and quite drinkable. douglas88 (1679), Salt Lake City, Utah, USA

Pours a pure black color with some shades of red when exposed to the light with a thick white head and nice lacing. The aroma is nice; rich toasted malts, some chocolates seem to drift in. The flavor is rich and great; chocolates, milky coffee, toasted malts, rich, very rich flavors. Very nice. A perfect Schwarz.
