Bottled. A pitch black beer with a thin brown head. The aroma has strong notes of roasted malt, alcohol, and wood. The flavor is sweet with strong notes of roasted malt, soy sauce, and wood as well as a bit of oranges and chocolate, leading to a roasted and dry finish. The alcohol tickles the tongue and palate. Thanks yespr for buying this for the corporation :-)

Bottle 65 cl. Pours thick and opaque black with an off-white head. Very roasted aroma - almost tar-like. Full body, hard roasted malts, vanilla, vitamin C and dried fruit. Very sweet and sticky with only a discreet malty bitterness. The barrel aging doesn’t really come through. 220909

Bottled at Stockholm Beer Festival. Oily black. Evident vanilla and licorice aroma. Sweetish with bready pop-corn and licorice. Full bodied with lots of chocolate, prickly pear frutiness and notes of raspberry, tar and vanilla. Great stuff, but I feel that the whisky flavour detracts more than it adds.

Very dark brown. No real head. Largely roasty aroma is cookie-ish and slightly nutty. Very full, fatty character. Nice wood and a little hint of nuts. Nothing hugely special, but it’s nice.
