alafito (331), tijuana, Mexico Aug 2, 2007 Black and thick, sweet bitterness from coffee beans and sweet belgium chocolate. Difrent from other I.Stouts because of the added oatmeal cookie tastes. Silky smooth with a hoppy bitter finish.
AmEricanbrew (1218), Office of The President Elect,, Louisiana, USA Jan 7, 2009 Ink black with a brown head. Big ass roasty malt chocolate aroma. Heavy viscous mouthfeel. Rich blackened malt flavors with dark chocolate and gram crackers. Finishes with bitter blackened malts. Nice stout. mikalooch (57), , New Jersey, USA Jan 6, 2009 Pours the blackest of any stout I have ever seen, light does not even shine through when held up to a lamp. Thin beige head, decent lacing. Very deep roasted malts, with chocolate, smoke, and booze. heavy chocolate and oat flavor complimented by a slight hop presence, roasted malt dominates though. Finishes with a slight anise flavor.
