22 oz Bottle from Total Wine. Puors a dark chocolate brown with a very slight layer which vanishes leaving a whispy trail floating. Aromas of smoke, espresso, black pepper and milk chocolate. Full and luscious body which is oily and coats the mouth. Flavor is rich with coffee, vanilla, dark chocolate and cookies. Overall this is dead on for the style. Excellent!!!

bottle, thanks to muckjoe! Pours a motor oil thick black with a medium dark tan head. Nice roasted coffee and oats in the nose. Nice roasted malt and chocolate flavors mixing with some nutty notes and a slight smoke in the finish. Really nice and drinkable. The mouth is fairly creamy with small hints of carbonation. Thanks again Joe!

Tallahassee, Fl. - Liquor Loft - 22 oz bomber. Black as charcoal pour with some ruby red tints - zero visibility. Tight khaki head that dissipates quickly after the pour. Aroma is pleasant with some coffee, licorice and kahlua. Solid flavor with heavy doses of dark bakers unsweetened chocolate, licorice, burnt marshmallows, kahlua and coffee. finishes with a hint of chewing tobacco. Thick, sticky mouthfeel. Glad to see this brewer making their way into the sunshine state!

22 oz bomber. Dark oily black pour with an ultra thin chocolate brown head. Aroma of chocolate, caramel and bread dough. Great full bodied taste of chocolate, roasted malts and a faint oatmeal finish. Great affordable and accessible winter treat.

Alvinne tasting. Pours near black, red hue under light. Toasted nose. Coffee, cereals, chocolate, soy sauce, nuts. But also hops noticeable. Very good silky creamy mouthfeel thanks to the oat used. Very tastebud saturating after a while. Very drinkable stout.

Average appearance for an Imperial. Head is very thin and doesn’t linger. Oily lacing. Taste is smooth with burnt maltiness. Palate is subtle at first with a slight hoppiness later. Taste doesn’t improve as the beer warms, instead the alcohol taste come out. A good beer but not my favorite Imperial. Aroma and after taste is the best part of this beer. Could session this beer but probably wouldn’t.

Bottle, as Hoppin’ Frog B.O.R.I.S. The Crusher Oatmeal-Imperial Stout, ABV 9.4%, at RBNAG 2009 in Vatlandsvåg. Pitch black colour, low brown head. Surprisingly moderate aroma of oats and roasted barley, notes of mild coffee, hints of chocolate. The flavour has loads of malty sweetness, verging on sickly, and loads of roasted barley too. Notes of coffee, hints of liquorice and dark chocolate. Slightly acidic finish. Not the best impy stout I’ve had.
