Commercial Description:
There’s a place just south they call Frog’s Hollow, brewin’ pumpkin ale in Fall, and they only speak in whispers of the name. There’s a lady they say who has the secret, of spices picked just right. With a crying shout, she’ll knock it out, and hand you the Frog’s delight.

Receiving 22-oz bomber via trade with shigadeyo. Pours a clear orange amber colored brew with an average off-white/beige head that has some nice lacing and a creamy top. Aroma of nutmeg spice, a hint of caramel malt, pumpkin pie filling and a hint of ginger. Taste is medium bodied, with flavors of pumpkin, nutmeg, a hint of clove and some cinnamon. Finish has a lingering nutmeg aftertaste with some pumpkin character.

Copper-orange pour. Lots of baked pumpkin aroma and flavor. There’s lots of spice in there too. I get a lot of nutmeg, a little cinnamon and some allspice. The malt imparts a Graham cracker and brown sugar note. Kind of like Pumking but not as dominant. The body is sticky, medium with moderate carbonation.

Bottle courtesy of BMan1113VR. Clear light gold pour. Fantastic spicy smell. The right mix of fruit and flowers. A small bit of spice is also around. Taste is lightly fruit and grain infused. Pumpkin is sensed but not tasted.

Finally a beer that can rival pumpking, this one comes damn close, I still think I like Pumking more but this comes damn close. Pours orange with a bright white ring. Nose has a pumpkin kick. Taste is sweet, rich and quite big. Lots of seasonally spiced pumpkin!

Bottle via a trade with Brigadier. Pours with a clear golden body and a fading white head. Aroma of cinnamon, florals, sweetness and a ton of pie. Taste is pie, cinnamon sugar, nutmeg, and pretty awesome overall. Medium carbonation. One of the better pumpkin beers out there.
