RblWthACoz (959), Brooklyn, New York, USA Feb 12, 2008 Pours a clear amber with a full creme head that sticks around and leaves nice lace on the way down. Nose is hoppy, of course, but has a soapy edge. Overall fragrances are not very powerful and carry very minor pine character. Flavor is smooth. Balanced bitter tones with noticeable leafy and woody hop tones, though not firm or anywhere near overpowering. Seems like some alcohol is there as well. Feel is nice. Pretty full carbonation on a slick liquid feel. This is a nice drinker. More woody than most other things. I think this on cask would be interesting.
AndyReynolds (54), Wilder, Kentucky, USA Aug 26, 2008 Tried at Alefest filtered through hops on tap, thanks to 1_2many for use of a writing instrument. Aroma was very hoppy, but citrus and grass came through. The taste was better than I expected, very balanced, but still bitter. Grapefruit, pine, and hops really came out in the finish. Very refreshing. hirigalzkar (3), Stockholm, Sweden does not count Aug 25, 2008 Bottle. Very nice citrusy aroma. The flavour was not as characteristic, but OK. Kind of watery in some way. Rather different from your standard IPA. ewestern (81), Ohio, USA Aug 25, 2008 Golden colored pour with a white head. Medium strength aroma of hops, smooth hop flavor with fruits. Not a very bitter finish, seemed somewhat watered down. finol (3), Nacka (Stockholm), Sweden does not count Aug 24, 2008 Bottle from Olbutikken, Copenhagen.
A really enjoyable IPA despite that I’m a bit fed up with the style at the moment... Blom (639), Odense, Denmark Aug 24, 2008 Hazy golden-brown with an ok head. Nice hoppy aroma and flavours of pine, grass and citrus. A bit of sweet caramel balances this well crafted and highly refreshing IPA.
