Commercial Description:
Is an award-winning, traditional, all-natural style of beer that falls under the category of a "West Coast" India Pale Ale (IPA). Characterized by its high hop content, high alcohol content and deep amber color, Hoppy Face™ is brewed using water with a high mineral content. Using only the finest 2-row malted barley and great northwestern grown hops, this combination results in a clean, crisp, well-balanced beer. As usual, no artificial preservatives have been added to our beer during and/or after the brewing process.

Attractive deep amber pour with a finger thick tan head. Nose is a bit subtle and earthy hops. The flavor is more full and enjoyable, with a dry earthy hop influence that leaves a slight bitter finish.

Bottle, 22oz, courtesy of Papsoe. It’s a clear, dark golden beer with some microfloaties and a beige head of moderate size. Peachy, resiny nose with a nice malty sweetness to balance it. Resiny and bitter flavor with malty sweetness tending towards beefstock. Some alcohol traces. Full-bodied and semi-sweet. Bitter finish where the maltyness is left in the back. Not a top notch beer, but a fine one indeed. 090821

Bottle gift. Amber pour with big hop aroma. Also a hint of lemon and grapefruit. Bitter finish that left me a little dissapointed but it was ok.

Bottle 65 cl. Pours an almost clear amber with tiny floating impurities and a small retentive head. Fresh peachy hops in the nose. Medium body, a little caramel and fruit before a dry and hoppy finish. 210809

Bottle, 6.1%. Good caramelly and grassy aroma. Clear amber colour. Small stable off-white head. The flavour is hoppy, has a distinct bitterness. A little grass note, but not as good as the aroma.

The color is warm amber and the head is creamy. The aroma is hoppy with notes of spruce, mango, citrus and caramel. The flavor has a light sweetness and notes of caramel, citrus, spruce, mango, papaya and other fruits and the finish has a dry bitterness.
