~Nice grapefruit hop scent with nice balance of sweet malts.
~Good balance in flavor. Strong hops and malts blend very well together.
~Medium feel, mellow bitter finish.
~No wonder this is their flagship brew. Good! SDalkoholic (1195), Chula Vista, California, USA

The nose is decorated with mild hops and weak notes of caramel hop. The flavor is a lop sided mixture of caramel malt and bittering westcoast hop that really tips the scale on shock value. Aftertaste is bitter and extremly dry, but overall this is a intimdating amber ale.

Odd nose of shoe polish, leather, grapefruit, tangerine and peach. Hoppy, just weird.
Nice n’ hoppy with notes of grapefruit, wood, apricot and peach. Biscuity and caramel malt hold things together quite well. A nice offering. yngwie (4970), Kristiansand, Norway

It’s a clear, dark golden beer with some microfloaties and a beige head of moderate size. Peachy, resiny nose with a nice malty sweetness to balance it. Resiny and bitter flavor with malty sweetness tending towards beefstock. Some alcohol traces. Full-bodied and semi-sweet. Bitter finish where the maltyness is left in the back. Not a top notch beer, but a fine one indeed. 090821 KimJohansen (7047), Copenhagen V, Denmark

Aroma of sweet caramel malt with a good dose of fresh resiny piny hops. Body starts with pleasant fullness and sweet caramel flavor with good grapefruity bittering and flavor hop balance before a crisp bittersweet finish. A pretty good, full-bodied IPA. The flavor is bitter orange, lemon, and caramel. Its not that complex of a beer but definitley good for the otherwise boring Amber Ale style. This would be a good session beer.
