Commercial Description:
This, our lightest ale, is fermented with an ale yeast at lager temperatures to produce a smooth brew. Balanced with Munich Malts and featuring Vanguard Hops: a new hop released in 1998 that carries a spicy aroma usually used in lagers.

~Pours a light golden color, with small creamy head. Nice lacing. ~Mild malt scent. ~Light citrus malt flavor. ~Clean feel, quick finish. ~Decent brew. Pretty mild.

Draft at the brewpub. Light floral aroma. Darkish golden color with a filmy white arrangement of small bubbles. Near medium body with smooth, creamy carbonation. Flavor has something like an orange peel bite to go with light malt. Not a great deal of bitter. Fairly tasty light ale - more so than expected. Would be an ok session ale, if available in package form.

Tap. I only drank about half a pint of this, as my friend couldn’t finish it. The smell reveals the creaminess of the beer, but the taste seems to be that of a Bud with a more pleasant finish. I didn’t really care for this offering, and doubt I’ll ever finish this one for anyone ever again.

(Draft at brewery. 03/2006) Sulfury aromas. Grainy -- both in aroma and flavor profiles. Very, very smooth -- almost like ... no, I won’t say it ;) . Just slightly bitter, this beer finishes very dry. It is a light gold and is super clear with a fast dissipating, fizzy white head. Average carbonation and a medium mouthfeel.
