Commercial Description:
Is a unique, all-natural style of beer that currently falls under the category of a Specialty Ale. In other words, there is no true category for this beer... Characterized by its distinctive Mount Hood hop aroma and beautiful blonde color, Liquid Sunshine™ is brewed at a low temperature to create a nice lite dry finish. Using only the finest 2-row malted barley, wheat, rye, and great northwestern grown hops, this combination results in a clean, crisp, and uniquely refreshing beer.

To me this smelled more like an APA, and after it was poured, it looked like a wheat beer. There was a ton of unfiltered sediment that settled eventually. It also tasted like an APA, as there was a nice citrus hop presence. The beer finished very crisp, and there was little sweetness or breadiness to be found. A very enjoyable ale.

Pour is gold with a decent fluffy head. Aroma is nice hoppy citrus. Flavors of caramel, citrus, and hops. A suprisingly good blonde. Quite hoppy.

Bottle. Poured hazy yellow with a large rocky white head that was mostly lasting and produced good lacing. Moderate hoppy sour citrus aroma. Medium body with a soft texture. Moderate sweet citrus flavor with a medium bittersweet finish of moderate duration.

Very hoppy aroma, looks blonde. Taste is some nice hops at the start and end, but kind of thin and bad in the middle. Weirdly good and bad.

22oz bottle acquired in trade with DarkElf (thanks!). Opened to an audible pop and initially poured an all white head. Settled down to a lighter and hazy yellow color. Aromas of honey, lemons, grass, and had a light spiciness to it. Tastes of stronger black pepper, with some citrus and grass. Thinner body.

Bottled. The body was light gold with a white colored head. The aroma was oranges with some ginger bread. There was also a bit of black pepper. The taste was bread crust with some grapefruit and corriander type spice. The body was smooth and light. I like this one.

22oz bomber pours golden sparkling with a tall white fluffy head that stays quite well and laces some. Nice aroma of sweet bready malts blended with some lemon and floral hops. Flavor is mostly bready as well with yeast, some lemon, and floral notes finish it off with a nice dry end. Crisp and very clean on the palate. Quite refreshing and probably one of the better beers of this style I’ve got to try. Very nice..

22 oz. bottle, from BevMo LaJolla. Pours clear golden with nice streams of bubbles and a thick white head that leaves a bit of spotty/stringy lace. Nice sweet aroma, toasty malts, a bit of wheaty/graininess along with floral and light citrus hops. Pleasant, if unremarkable flavor - lightly sweet initially, with plentiful northwest hops giving lemon, floral and other citrus flavors and a lingering tart finish. Light to medium body and moderate, yet gentle carbonation. Refreshing and not bad overall - could be a good session ale.
