Commercial Description:
Is a unique, all-natural style of beer that currently falls under the category of a Specialty Ale. In other words, there is no true category for this beer... Characterized by its distinctive Mount Hood hop aroma and beautiful blonde color, Liquid Sunshine™ is brewed at a low temperature to create a nice lite dry finish. Using only the finest 2-row malted barley, wheat, rye, and great northwestern grown hops, this combination results in a clean, crisp, and uniquely refreshing beer.

This blonde ale is straw gold with a foamy white head. The aroma is split between grainy malt and westcoast grown hops. The drink has an organic taste to it and thats maybe due to the amount of hops and the weak but noticeable malt. A strong delivery for a golden ale for sure.

(Draft at brewery. 03/2006) Lemony, citrus aromas with a definite hit of sulfur and maybe just a little bit of DMS. Fizzy, white head dissipates very quickly to nothing -- although it does leave just a little bit of lace. Citrus bitterness, slightly grassy with grapefruit in the back-end. Slightly malty. Dry finish. Light bodied, thin.

Very light, lemony - well, sunny - beer. Lots of fleshy lemony and grapefruit notes. Soft varied slightly sweet maltiness with the wheat evident, not sure about the rye. Just a very enjoyable beer that I could drink often.

pours a pale yellow with a layer of white foam.Nose is light on the hops and maybe a little earthiness:grain ?? Flavor is alittle non-existent.Some bitterness from the hops but I will say that it is refreshing.

Pours a very pale white yellow color. Medium sized somewhat rocky white head. Slightly sweet malt flavors complemented by a muted citrus hop tone. Subtle grainy and sweet malt flavors meld with a grassy and slightly fruity hop characteristics. Finishes with a nice crisp bitterness and a lingering astringency. Mouthfeel is light and crisp.

Pours a fairly light golden color. Sweet hoppy aroma with a hint of citrus. Flavor is pretty hoppy for a blonde ale. Nice maltiness to round the flavor out. Some grapefruit in there as well. Quite good.

Very underated beer. Tasted at the brewery, great citrus aroma and balance. Drinkable, yet flavorful. Too hoppy for a blonde, not hoppy enough for an IPA and too pale for a pale ale...forget style. This is my favorire Sacramento beer in the summertime.
