Commercial Description:
Hoppys gift to those you like their beers malty. Dark Caramel and chocolate malts lend their deep crimson silkiness, and judicious additions of Nugget and Cascade hops give just enough bitterness for balance.

Clear copper color with a tan head. Mild roasty, sour bread aroma. Light/medium body and smooth. Semi sweet toffee and caramel sweet malts with a nicely bitter finish. Good session brew.

This reddish-brown ale poured with a modest tan head and a caramel malt aroma. True to th brewer’s name, this beer is very nicley hopped and the malt is well-balanced.

10-21-07 bottle.
Clear ruby red color with okay head. Heavy malt smell and taste. Smooth but a bit weak overall. Nothing too memorable about this one.

The bouquet is...bananas? Pours a hazy red/amber in a half yard, going to a deep red at the bottom. Hops hit you in the first sip - strong cascade hop flavor. Pine trees. A little citrus finish.

22 oz bottle from Holiday Wine Cellar: Redish-amber color with a moderate light beige head. Aroma is light malty caramel. Flavor starts caramel sweet with a hint of cherry followed by a moderate citrus bitterness in the finish. Medium bodied and tangy with lively carbonation.

bottle. copper maroon body with a cream colored head. my room smells of coffee, this beer smells of almost nothing. flavor is light malty caramel w/a bit of tin bitterness. very light caramel flavor is here. i’m really surprised by how little flavor is here. i usually can dig on an amber, but this one is doing nothing for me. it’s not that it is a bad beer, it’s just not anything. 3 5 5 2 10
