DYCSoccer17 (2187), Davis, California, USA Jun 7, 2007 Half-pint sampled at the brewpub. Listed as "Tyson’s Twisted Pale Ale", 5.4%. Spicy, metallic, light piney hoppy aromas are detected. Rather faint, unfortunately. Transparent dark-gold/light copper body with a small, off-white head. Very metallic hoppiness to start, which becomes lightly cereal-like. A bit grainy. Astringency follows. Finishes with a dry, grapefruity bitter hoppiness. Tons of hops in this. Light-bodied, poorly balanced. This just isn’t working for me at all.
