Good rich taste and thick in body. Quality palate is not there though as the flavor has attributes of cheap coffee.

Aug 14, 2008 ...draft at Gainesville location. This was the best they had to offer, but wasn’t that great. Decent roasted aroma, but tasted more like cheap coffee. Had a clearish brownish color with a tan, non lasting head. Way too light bodied, lacked flavor and complexity, not a porter.

Jun 10, 2008 Light brown colour. Light chewy toffee nose with a hint of raisin. Palate is Dunkin Donuts coffee and light raisin bread. This one is pretty bad.

May 10, 2008 Draught Hops Miami. Billed as "Our Guinness" even though it’s clear medium brown. Sparged grain, husky and watery. More flavor than most other Hops beers from this location. Sweet, husky with slightly sour finish. Yukky.

Apr 16, 2008 Draft at Hops (obviously) pours a dark brown with a very thin tan head. Aroma is bittersweet chocolate, roasted coffee and malt. Taste is mostly roasted malt, chocolate, and coffee with a touch of bitterness and hops. Smooth, clean finish. Overall not an amazing beer but still pretty decent and a personal favorite among the Hops selections.
