smcd (363), USA Mar 20, 2006 (Cask. 03/2006) This should probably be classified as its own, unique brew. It was awesomel. Served from the cask with natural, soft carbonation, this presented wonderful, grassy, floral hop aromas balanced by chocolate, roasted barley, and deep earthy aromas with hints of dried fruits. Some oxidation was occurring -- which just enhanced this beer over the several days it was available Wonderful chocolate and notes of burnt toast with fig/date preserves for jam, full-bodied, yeasty, nutty, wonderful.
