Clean and big nose with a soft touch of fruit and alcohol. Huge malt forward palate with big alcohol warmth. Slightly honeyed and again alcohoilic on the palate. Finishes with some mild belgian notes.

Draft at O’Brien’s. Adverted as HopTown Rattanfanger von Pleasanton Pale Bock. Very malty sweet aromas on this golden orange pour with very little head. Flavor was very malty and sweet. Very bock like. I liked it.

Tap, O’Brien’s. Pours an amber/ruby color. Sweet and malty aroma. Quite a bit of alcohol. A hint of roastiness. Pretty strong and a little unrefined

On tap at O’Briens. Arrived a clear medium brown color with a small biegey head. Aroma is sweet and fruity, with prunes, figs and hints of maple syrup. Flavor is also initally sweet and fruity, again figs and brown sugar, floral notes and a huge alcohol presence - a little too much for my tastes. Medium to full body and lightly prickly carbontion. Definitely fits the "Imperial" description for a bock.

On tap@O’Brien"s: Brown amber color with a small (bar pour) offwhite head. Aroma is sweet with overripe fruit. Flavor starts sweet with overripe apricot and peach followed by a light bitterness and a peppery sting. Medium bodied, smooth and spritzy with lively carbonation.

Bomber hand bottled by Brewer/owner Dave Heist from his last keg! [Thanks Dave] poured a clear copper amber with a small lingering amber head. Aromas of fruit, sweet carmel, hints of toffee and some earthy notes. Palate was medium bodied and a bit syrupy but smooth. Flavors of apricot, apples, sweet carmel, a bit of earthiness and a touch of peach with a pleasent lingering sweet finish. I’m not much of a lager person but this one has a lot of flavor!

I had this at the pizza port real ale fest 2006. Dark amber body, the aroma has some apricot notes in it, the flavor is sweet, a bit like apricots and peaches
