Commercial Description:
HopTown IPA, our flagship beer, has a rich, malty character, an alcohol content of 6.2% and a generous helping of hops (almost two pounds per barrel!). We use Galena hops for bittering and Cascade and Centennial hops for the finish and for dry hopping.

pours a golden orange color with a decent head and very little lacing. The aroma is fairly weak with mild hints of citrus and hops. The flavor is pretty much the same, with not a whole lot to it. Good tasting beer, but doesn’t pack any sort of punch at all... I want more hops in this beer!

Hazy amber, 3/4" loose head. Citrus caramel. I also get a hint of fish(?). Thin in body. Somewhat rough bitterness. Decent pine and grapefruit hop flavors. The finish is a little dirty.

(nitro, Barclays) Off-white head atop clear golden body. Aroma is medium sweet, grapefruit, pine. Taste is medium sweet, grapefruit, pineapple. Creamy light-medium body with resin, no carbonation. Not sure I have had an IPA on nitro before, and I cannot say this experience makes me feel that I have been missing something.

Bottle acquired in trade with DarkElf (thanks!). Poured a dark amber color with an averaged sized tan head. Aromas and tastes of grapefruit, pine and light caramel. Medium bitter with a lightly sweet balance to it. Enjoyable.

Pourede a hazy, reddish amber color with a small, off white head that left nice lacing on the glass. Aroma of resiny pine, citrus malt, tons of C hops. Light sweetness balanced by bitter grapefruit... citrus hops, and light alcohol with a bitter dry finish. Real decent IPA here.

Bitter hoppyness with a distinct roasty flavor and pine notes. I had it from the tap, there was little to no head. Nutty amber color.

Copper color with light head and some lacing. Nose of ginger, light pine and grassy citrus hops, light malt. A bit of watery flavor, more swaying towards a california pale ale. The finish is balanced though and it’s a good drink.

Bottle poured a clear copper with an amber head. Aromas of pine, citrus and carmel. Palate is smooth, dry, and somewhat resiny. Flavors of pine, carmel, and a bit of citrus with a dry bitter finish.
