Commercial Description:
Hoptown Oatmeal Breakfast Stout is not your typical oatmeal stout. Rich with chocolate and roasted barley malts, and an aggressive yeast strain, combined with loads of rolled oats creates an oatmeal stout with a creamy texture and a dry, hoppy finish. Great with or without eggs, bacon, and toast. Enjoy.

Dark red/brown/black, short tan head, good lacing. Lots of roasty coffee flavors here along with chocolate and a little bit of dark fruit. Finish is nice and hoppy/burnt. I almost missed this one - I had to go out and get more propane for the bbq! Thanks Ernie!, I shared this with Mike BBB63.

Thanks to Flipbrewer for this one. Pours black, with a big tan head and lace. Aroma of coffee, chocolate, licorice, and cabernet. Tastes malty, hoppy, with a chocolate and coffee finish, and a nice roasty sweetness at the end.

Nearly opaque with amber highlights that produces a small creamy tan head and some lace. The aroma has notes of espresso, caramel, mocha, oats, sour fruits, and aromatic hops. The taste has cream and coffee tones on top of the pronounced chocolate malts. Very breakfast like! Some sour and burnt notes with a bitter nip on the finish. The mouthfeel starts silky smooth but is biting and crisp on the finish. Great stout that is not overly sweet, fits the name well. I like it! Thanks Andy for sharing the bottle!

Draft. Nice tan head with little aromas at all. The initial taste is of straight up alcohol and mild espresso. Next comes the bittersweeet chocolate taste with even more alcohol pushing behind. I don't know how strong this is, but all I'm getting now is alcohol. The finish is dry and bitter.

Very dark brown color with a medium light brown head. Strong roasted coffee and sour lactose aroma. Slightly sweet malt, sour alctose, roasted coffee, bitter hops and dark chocolate flavors. Creamy feel with a fairly dry finish.

Deep, dark brown color, opaque, with a good tan head. The aroma was very roasty...lots of coffee in this...some burnt hops tones. The flavor was not nearly as sweet as I hoped, but pretty still good. Roasted coffee, burnt hops, toasted bread, sweet chocolate in the finish. The feel was very creamy, with a crisp bite on the tongue up front.

Pours a rich almost black color with a thin light tan head. Aroma is dry, roasty, and sweet. Nice balance and flavor profile in the body, but could've been a little sweeter and less dry. Has a lingering roasted malt finish. A decent stout, and very drinkable, but not over the top.
