Ooooohhhh so very creamy and smooth.Smooth as Guiness Druaght but smoother,no bitter after taste, well, not yet,I know Guiness’s Stout has one of the most bitter after tastes. I need to try the other breakfast stouts mentioned.

Great Beer...I used to live with one of the brewers. He was the best roommate in history. Drank dank beer and always brought a keg home on friday...Even one made a beer especially for me (the Pentagram Ale-a kitchen sink beer with 14+ alc.) If ya meet Robert Fevior, tell him" Animal sent me"...Anywho... Black Opaque color (black holeesque) with a mocha head. Very thick beer, viscus. Malty coco aroma, lots of chocolate (as you would expect) creamy and smooth with a very full mouth feel. FInish is Dry and crisp...WHat’s missing is it’s longevity. THe first couple of slugs are full and rich, but by the end of the bomber it’s taste flattens out and seems less special...not a chore but less special. Buy it. it’s good.

Bottle: Double black color, rich tan head, thick lacing. Nose of lactic nugget, caramel (not the malt, the REAL stuff). Smoky and pleasent. The flavor is lightly salty and astringent but remains creamy, rich and roast. Hops don’t play much of a hand but some astringency mixes well with the molasses sweetness. Finishes creamy, lightly milky, tangy. Excellent.

Couldn't wait for breakfast. Dark, espresso color and a rich, nutty, roasty flavor balanced by a mild and pleasant hoppiness. Cocoa, coffee, and malt linger on the palate. An enjoyable Oatmeal Stout.

How does VENOM get this before me when this is from over the hill in Pleasanton? Big roasty nose, bitter cocoa, milky cereals. This brew is huge. Like a good bitter cocoa, there are rewards in the bitterness (hops and bitter malts combined). Congrats to Hoptown on another big beer. Delicious.

Another fine looking bomber from Flipbrewer.Nice dark brown color,small tan head that had a good hangtime then faded to a nice small lace..The aroma was roasty malt ,coffee and maybe some hints of chocolate and a very slight hint of some smoke in there as well.Very nice roasty flavor light coffee,just a hint of chocolate at the very end,with a mild but decent hop presence coming on in the tail end and after taste to make for a nice mild coffee hop after taste.Very nice smooth brew that goes well with breakfast or like i’m doing right now,having it for breakfast.Thanks alot for the great brew Ernie. Rerate:One other thing i'm detecting as this brew warms up more is a nice butterscotch note coming on with a slight buttery taste in the end.Even better then before.

A very nice beer. Not as heavy a body as I expected, but there's still a nice chewyness that I would expect from an Oatmeal Stout. Nice bitterness that comes out in the aftertaste. Not overpowering, just enough. Dark color that no light passes through. Good head to begin with, but it does disappear after you've taken a few sips. Going head-to-head with Samuel Smith Oatmeal Stout, I think this is a better value for the dollar. Will be on my list to buy again.

Beautiful dark Brown, near Black with Ruby edges. Dark cocoa, coffee & cereal, rich and complex. Light floral hops, sweet chewey chocolate, very tasty!
