Grassy and warming with licorice loads of bitterness - a lot like Fernet Branca. Too sweet and unbalanced. MullMan (1081), Bloomfield, New Jersey, USA

| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 3/5 | 16/20 | Aug 8, 2004 Thin and watery. Good thing the taste is pretty good. Chocolate, some sweetness, and roasted coffee and cocoa. Lingering hoppy aftertaste. A different type of good imperial stout. Not up there with the best or even a step below that.
