Commercial Description:
Our full-bodied red ale called Paint The Town Red. It joins our IPA as a beer that we'll always produce. It is quite hoppy (what else?) and gets its flavor from generous additions of Cascade hops and crystal malts.

A very nice 22 oz bottle bought from BevMo. Poured a nice red hue that looked great in the pint glass. Full of hops compared to other ambers. Overall a very nice beer with a smooth palate and is worth a try.

Pours a pretty murky medium amber. Nice thick head that stays extremely well. Taste is ok, nothing great. Hops are there, but not as upfront as I like. Solid drinking brew, though.

22 oz. bottle- color of medium copper , with a decent tan head - nose of dry hops , grapefruit , spruce , mild malt , and slight chocolate – taste of floral hops , resin , citrus zest (mostly lime) , some lemon , and balanced malt - body is dry , oily , and with medium low carbonation – aftertaste of malty , mellow , and lime zest

Pours a deep honey amber color w/ a full, semi creamy froth. Good hang time w/ full residual lacing. Aromas of thick caramel malts and some cocoa. Medium nectar w/ very little residual effers creates a slippery texture. Big caramel malts w/ a mild hop profile. Rich in character w/ a long finish consisting of a mild hop bittering and fat malts. Not bad at all.

The beer poured a clear deep amber color with a small beige head. the aroma had piney and grapefruity hops with candy sweet malt. Sweaty hops appeared as well. The flavor was a mix of sweet fruity malt and piney hops with a dash of citrus. Medium bodied.

Good color from a 22oz bomber, but not much head. Resiny aroma with some hints of hay and pine. I tasted a more roasty malt flavor initially, with a citrus/orange and hops foundation. Good mouthfeel that finishes crisp and clear. Not too outstanding of a flavor, but worth a try. Much rather prefer a Calico over this however.

Pours a deep red color with a white head. Aroma is malty with some bittering hops to back it up. Flavor is malty with a bitter hop finish.

Strong and pleasan citrus hop aroma backed by a hint of malt. Deep hazy reddish apricot color with a beige head that stays around. Starts with citrus, followed by some harsh malt, followed by a cleansing bitterness. Medium mouthfeel that thins with exposure. Enough malt to qualify as an amber, enough hop to qualify as an IPA. I think the West Coast is raising the bar on hop content. Good stuff.
