Golden-orange pour with a thick, sticky white head. The nose is quite lovely with lots of bright noble hop character. Zesty and lightly lemony with a touch of herbal character as well. There is a fairly dank, piny aroma and a little bit of pineapple fruitiness. The hops are fairly fresh with a little bit of herbal/grassy notes throught he middle. Warming brings up a kiss of orange and tangerine citrus behind the bright zesty spiciness. This is a pretty nice, zesty IPA. Nice assertive bitterness and pretty solid really. Some lingering pine character.

Another really amazing West coast IPA straight outta Portland courtesy of my buddy. Pours an illuminating orange colour with a large white head. A bit o’ shit floating around. Aroma is pine and fresh hops. Grapefruit, lime and biscuits on hte palate. Nice beer with a fun ABV and a huge amount of hops.

11/04/2009: Hopworks IPA Orangic Beer... Aroma: Juicy orange, tangerine, and some grapefruit; light underlying toffee maltiness. Appearance: Pale copper color; slightly hazy; small off-white head; decent lacing. Flavor: Very balanced between the slightly sugary malts and grapefruit-flavored hop bitterness; spicy floral quality. Palate: Medium body; soapy texture. Overall: This is an enjoyable IPA; I would enjoy drinking this several times; good organic offering with plenty of flavor.

On tap at H.U.B. Colour... yellow-gold, no head. Nose... sweet hops and grapefruit zest. Palate... velvety, tangy, hoppy, some grainy aspect, biscuits, tea leaves, pith and a moderately tangy finish.

Bottle shared by alexsdad06. Poured a clear copper color with an average frothy white head that mostly lasting with good lacing. Moderate earthy, sour citrus and small malt aroma. Medium body with a slick texture and soft carbonation. Medium bittersweet flavor with a medium bittersweet finish of moderate duration. This is a drinkable beer and better then my expectations for organic.

Bomber courtesy of Kenb. Pours hazy gold with a 2 finger white head that clings to the glass. The nose is malt and nice citrus. The taste is tangerine, orange peel, caramel and tart grapefruit in the finish. Medium mouthfeel. Very nice IPA – thanks Ken!

Lots of pine but a bit too much malt flavor. This reminds me of Boulevard’s Double Wide - which everyone loves but me. I will say that fresh, it is a good IPA. Pours cloudy copper with white head.
