22 oz bomber from Market of Choice. Nice to see the HUB beers finally getting bottled! Deep orange pour with a finger and a half of solid head and some nice lacing. Aroma is hefty with pine hops with some light citrus notes and pretty much no malt to speak of. The flavor is much the same, a little too bitter at the back end, but the pine and citrus generally compliment each other well with a very light malt feel.

Poured from a 22oz. Bomber into Pint glass. Pours a glowing crystal clear orange with a half-inch bubbly white head that dissolves quickly into a fine layer around the glass. Aroma has sweet, caramel malt, orange peel and piney hops. Flavor has orange peel, more of that piney hop flavor that is tangy, caramel malt upfront with a lingering sweet, biting bitterness that coats your mouth. Its a medium bodied and slightly sticky. It seems very balanced and its very drinkable but I think there are better options available here in the Northwest.

Draft at Hopworks. Pour a light to medium golden. Aroma of hops with a little bit of grapefruit and pine. Light body almost a little to watery like. taste light at first with a good hit of hops a the tailing end. Overall it tasted more like a pale then a IPA

Draft @ HUB, Portland, OR. Rating #2800. Pours a slightly hazy orange color with a small white head. Has a sweetish malty hoppy citrus aroma. Sweetish malty hoppy bitter grapefruit flavor. Has a malty hoppy bitter finish with lots of bitter grapefruit in the aftertaste.

Cask. Best head I’ve ever seen from a cask pull. Aroma bubbling with tangy citrus (including lemon), slightly more subtle herbal-grassy notes. Flavor continues to be a waterfall of hop goodness, so tangy and juicy. While hop-centric, the hopping is absolutely flawless with no harshness, instead just uber-tanginess and juiciness. An absolute joy.

Incredibly bitter organic ale. Only 75 IBUs but a great variety both the type and how added to the brewing process.

sampler @ brewery - a pretty good IPA; copper and clear with foamy head; crisp, bitter aromas; very fresh, dank & grainy; nice level of bitterness; grew on me enough to take home a growler
