troopie (470), USA Oct 26, 2007 Draught. White head with cloudy orange body, much lacing. Lekker hoppy aroma. Piney with much hoppiness, citrus in body and finish. As fine an IPA as you’ll find Angeloregon (1829), Portland, Oregon, USA Jun 11, 2007 Poured a tawny golden copper color with a bustling white head. Sharply bitter, but not overly so. Crisp and fairly balanced for the style (PNW IPA). British ale flavor in delicious finish. If this is what Hopworks is about, I want more now! boFNjackson (502), Portland, Oregon, USA Apr 20, 2008 Tap @ HUB, Cask Conditioned... Poured orange with a fluffy white head. Aroma of grass and citrus hops. Flavor of hops that created a satisfying bitterness and give way to candy-like, herbal malt characters. Hearty and robust and overall very delicious. Mildly soapy flavors that are followed by a hoppy finish. blueturk (63), Albuquerque, New Mexico, USA Nov 22, 2007 Draft (off the cold conditioning tank in the brew room). Wow! Nice pour with medium white head and deep golden color. Quite clear, and was just filtered that day. Lots of hop aroma and flavor of that classic NW profile, but on a delicate pilsen malt. Showcased hops all around with great bitterness. Very nice Christian! Excellent beer! Tried a couple other beers, and decided to get a 5gal corny filled for Thanksgiving. acrdz (4248), Pennsylvania, USA Jun 7, 2008 Draft at the brewery in Portland. Hugely pungent + fresh hop nose - big Cascade and Amarillo, fresh, green, dank, awesome. Grassy cannabis and fresh, vivid, dry-hopped character, straight hops, pure, assertive but not caustic or corrosive. Peppery but smooth. Awesome pure hop bomb.
