Bomber from Liquid Solutions. Pours quite black with a four finger tan head. Lots of coffee and chocolate in the aroma. Body is a bit thinner than anticipated. Carbonation is mild. Flavor is harshish coffee and darkly toasted malts, or perhaps grains is more correct in this case. Coffee tends to dominate the chocolate which is more noticeable in the finish. Really a joy to drink.

22 oz bottle from Hagen. Pours near black with brown edges. Average size fluffy beige head. Nose is roasted grains and coffee. Tastes like you would expect...coffee, roasted grains, and some dry bakers chocolate with a touch of cream. Light/medium body. I have not had a dry stout in some time..one because i have not sampled much beer in the past 6 months due to wait loss, but also because it is not one of my favorite styles. This is a very good beer though and at the top of this style, and much better than most dry stouts i have had. Would love to try this on nitro. HUB continues to impress me. Quality ++ all the way.

On tap at the KLCC microbrewfest. Deep black color with a solid brown head. Nice roasted aroma with some coffee and a grainy aspect. Flavor is very heavily coffee with a nice roastiness to it and a bit of a peaty, earthy flavor. Solid brew, would drink again.

On tap at HUB in Portland, OR. Pours a dark black with a nice foamy tan head. Coffee was imediately noticeable in the nose. Coffee also very upfront in the taste. Some malts and earthy notes as well, but coffee is very much front in center with this one. A decent stout, but wouldn’t be enjoyable if your not a coffee fan...you can drinks this one with breakfast, almost.

Shows the how beer can surpass boring corporate formulas. Very interesting stout, almost Earthy taste from the combination of grains and coffee. A must try just to say you have.
