Cask conditioned at Banbury Beer Fest ’08. Copper colour with slight head. Big honeyed caramel flavour with butterscotch, a little too flabby with honey sweetness thrown in. Some light hop in the finish, but not my sort of beer.

Cask gravity @ Reading Beer Festival 2008.
Clear medium amber orange color with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, roasted, caramel, moderate hoppy, citrus - orange, buttery notes. Flavor is moderate to light heavy sweet and bitter with a average to long duration. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is flat. (030508)

Cask conditioned at Banbury Beer Festival 09-05-08 Amber in colour, caramel, honey and hops in mouth, like Glen say’s this is a bit sweet, it’s ok but not that exciting.

Cask handpull at Wenlock Arms. Bit buttery, not great. Bit of biscuit and bitterness, but the butteryness puts me off.

Cask @ The Wenlock Arms, London.
Pours a wonderful golden amber with a small bubbly white head. Aroma has caramel, subdued soft hops. Low carbonation, and a bit thin. Flavour is rather sweet, good caramel and light dry hops. Didn’t really strike a chord with me.
